What a grey day

It has been such a grey rainy day today and the temperature only reached about 22 degrees C. so quite chilly too.

You can see in this photo of the Stockton Ferry in Newcastle just how low the sky was.

I think we have got about 97% humidity too.

Yes, we have had a couple of grey days recently but thankfully this morning it is chilly but bright although the weather forecasters are gloomily predicting rain for lunch time.

@steampowered Thanks Paul. Apparently we have got more rain to come. We usually don't get too many days a year where the sky is this low and it rains all day, so we can't complain.

@elaine55 so I believe. I think tomorrow may be reasonably fine and then more rain for the next few days. I was hoping to go to the Nostalgia Festival at Kurri Kurri at the weekend, but I won't go if it is raining.

@happypat Thanks Pat. Yes it wasn't a bleak day as in really cold, but after we have been having temperatures in the 30s, 22 was a bit chilly. Feels cool when the sun is hidden.

@eyesmile Thanks Gena. It is fall (autumn) here too now and although not too cold it is still cooler than the weather we have had lately. It was about 22 degrees C which I think is about 71 degrees f (in your money)! so a bit chilly for us. Yes the yellow is the Stockton to Newcastle ferry. it only takes about 5 minutes or so to get across the water but a lot of people park at Stockton and travel by ferry into Newcastle to work. To drive round would take over half an hour and then you have to pay for parking in Newcastle too.
