Today is the first day that I have been home all day for ages. Consequently it has been a day of catching up on just about everything. I am shattered tonight.
Only just had time for a quick photo too. Luckily this baby magpie landed on the broomstick which is hanging on a wall of our house.
I told my husband that I was a witch in a previous life and he said "What do you mean previous". Of course, I had to turn him into a frog, but he should recover once the spell wears off in a week or two.
Haha! What a fun capture! That birds seems quite comfortable sitting on the broomstick there! Perhaps he's trying to talk to the bird on the wall? Love the description, wonder if he'll go hopping mad? :) x
LOL! Love your humor and seems your husband (luckily) has one too! I have always wanted a frog (a real one)...though! Very cool capture...nicely caught!
@elaine55@elaine55 Thanks Elaine. Yes we do have a family of magpie's here at the moment. The parents are here each year. This year they have 4 babies. I think Mr Maggie is getting a bit fed up of kids though now because he gets quite agressive with a couple of his offspring on occasion.
I think I will leave David in his frog phase for a bit longer. ha ha.
@golftragic Thanks Marnie. I will check out for frogs. David always says "You have to kiss a lot of frogs before one turns into a handsome prince." It is a good job I like frogs isn't it ha ha.
@paulaw Thanks Paula. Good job David enjoys being a frog. Tried catching up today and then the Internet went down. Always something gets in the way doesn't it.
@jackie8 thanks Jackie. David made a broomstick for one of our grandsons a few years ago because he was Harry Potter mad and I said I wanted one too, so he made this one for me.
I think I will leave David in his frog phase for a bit longer. ha ha.
