This is for Annie @annied because she is feeling a bit down in the dumps at the moment. Hope it cheers her up because I nearly got myself arrested taking this photo.
I saw this sign in a shop in Nelson Bay and thought I would inconspicuously take a photo of it. Of course, I got myself noticed and I think the owner thought I was a potential shoplifter. She kept her beady eye on me and I thought I had better own up to what I was doing. I told her that I wanted to take a photo of the words for a friend of mine. She wasn't too impressed when I walked out without buying it though, but at least I wasn't in handcuffs escorted by police. ha ha.
Such a hopeful and positive message, glad you didn't get arrested! I was approached by a slightly hostile man the other day while I was taking my blossom photo. .... I was totally unaware of him and suddenly he confronted me and said was I taking photos of him, as that would be illegal! ! I was gobsmacked. ... I told him I was just taking daffodil and blossom shots, and then politely told him that it wasn't illegal anyway. Fortunately he then sloped off! 365 can nearly get us into trouble at times!
thank you so much Babs - it is pouring atm but I know the sun will eventually come out again - glad you didn't have to spend time in a holding cell hahahaha
@lilminimonka I was in her shop taking photos and she was trying to earn a living. I was trying too hard to be discreet I suppose. I usually find if I ask they are much nicer. Usually do, but not on this occasion.
@lynnz I usually ask if I can take a photo if I am in a shop, but this shop didn't look like the sort of one where they would say yes, so I decided to take it anyway. You have to live dangerously sometimes.
