When I took this picture I thought these flowers were, what we call in Australia, Christmas Bells.
I thought it was a bit odd flowering in June, but when I checked it out on Google, although they look similar they aren't Christmas Bells. Does anyone know what they are called.
I think it is called Cotyledon from the succulent family, I have one in my garden but I had no idea of it's name, so looked it up on the net, they are very pretty and attract lots of birds. Hope that's right Babs.
I am not very well up on flowers but I saw this one as we were walking back from the beach. It is in an area which is fenced off for regeneration purposes by the beach and I had to lean over the fence to get this picture.
I think Tessa and Diane are right (thank you both) and it is a cotelydon succulent flower. I Googled it and it looks right. Well done you have both won a coconut.
