The Old and the New by onewing

The Old and the New

I have spent all day catching up on 365 and processing the photos I took earlier this week. I will be posting them over the next few days.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs for my photos over the last few days. I haven't had time to catch up with everyone individually, but I do read all your comments and I really do appreciate your support.

This group of photos was taken while we were in Newcastle on Thursday. After my medical appointment, David just had to go to the model railway shop in the centre of Newcastle, so I wandered off taking photos while he was in there.

I just love the mixture of the old and the new buildings in the centre of town.

The new buildings are on the wharf and they have a wonderful view of the ships coming and going.

@golftragic Thanks Marnie. There is such a mixture of buildings in Newcastle. I thought I'd better put a few collages together or I would never get to post all of the photos I took.

@derekvickers The old buildings certainly have character I agree, but some of the new buildings look quite sleek too.
