Kindy Steamfest

Just outside Maitland railway station on the steamfest days were a series of paintings done by kindergarten kids from various schools in the area. I thought this one was the best.

The engine in the picture 3642 is the one that pulled the train we rode on, but it is green not black as shown here. Still a great picture though and I love the koala and echidna in the painting too.
So naïve and pretty -- its lovely to see little children's work like this illustrated for all to see and to brighten up the surrounds !

You have some very talented young children out there Babs, we are booked on Thomas the tank engine with the grandchildren in August at a steam railway, just can't wait, photos I'm sure will be taken, lol:)

I think black probably stood out better than more green....you are allowed to take liberties when you are a child! Lovely joint work of art!
