I have seen a few dandelion clock photos on 365 lately, so I thought I would take one of my own.
We have plenty of weeds in our garden at present but no dandelions, so I pinched this from my neighbours front garden. She is away at the moment, but I am sure she won't mind.
I put it on a piece of black card and then decided to convert it to black and white because it brought out the seeds more.
We used to collect dandelion clocks when we were kids and blow the seeds, saying one o'clock, two o'clock, three o'clock until all the seeds were gone. It wasn't the best way of telling the time, ha ha.
I don't remember calling them clocks as a child but I do remember picking them and blowing off all the seeds. Boy the neighbors must have loved that! Great black and white!
