While walking on the beach yesterday I spotted these three surfers.
I know the sun is shining, but it is still winter in Australia at the moment and far too cold to be surfing in the ocean without a wetsuit in my opinion.
I don't know what the temperature actually was yesterday but at the moment it is 15 degrees C and I think the temperature was similar yesterday at this time too.
I suspect that the chap on the left must be a tourist (possibly from a cold climate) because he was taking selfies too. How on earth he managed to surf with a selfie stick on a mobile phone I have no idea. Although to be honest I didn't actually see him surfing. The other two did surf though for a while.
Your winter temperatures must be similar to our summer ones I would think. Our sea is always cold. I imagine he would have been cold though - what’s that saying - brave or stupid!

@quietpurplehaze Three is a good number especially when there are sharks in the water. Always best to take two friends with you. All you need to be able to do is swim faster than the other two.
Good catch! He may be a tourist with a water proof camera so the temps didn't bother him, but I suspect the "extra padding" he carries on him also helps!
