Fairy Village by onewing

Fairy Village

You only need 3 mm rain and the fairies move in.

Spotted this little bunch of mushrooms just before I began to mow the grass.

Only one more photo and this isolation theme will be over. If only the real isolation were so easy.

Very true Babs ๐Ÿ˜ž if only ...Nice shot

They look lovely Babs- mowing the grass, chopping wood, digging weeds - you are going to emerge from isolation so fit and ready to go! :)

@robz I am usually pretty active but this manual work is nearly killing me ha ha

@swguevin2 Thanks Sheila. It is autumn here in Australia now not Spring.

@momamo I don't think things will be normal again for quite a while

Reading Maggie's comment......I once helped on a school trip when the Teenager was small to look for fungi in the local woods. I can still remember the shock on the faces of the teachers when I told my rapt group of 7 year olds "You can eat all fungi.......but some of them only once!" My group were the only group that didn't put anything in their mouths at all!

Very pretty shot. You just need two of Cinderella's dwarf to complete the picture.

We have rain forecast for early next week. I hope that we've got some local fairies seeing as they can't cross the border :)

I never would have guessed you for a home-wrecker! hehehe Even though we are in opposite seasons the results of a good rain is the same. We will get mushrooms popping up in our yard as well when it rains. Good shot.

@beryl @maggiemae @sangwann @pcoulson @pusspup @moviegal1 @gijsje @merrelyn @mittens @pattyblue @fishers @craftymeg @ludwigsdiana @taffy @carolmw @happypat @salza @olivetreeann @pyrrhula @sugarmuser Thanks, they have gone now, but the sky is looking rather black this morning so maybe more rain is on the way. We desperately need it so fingers crossed. I am sure the fairies will make new homes again soon.
Not sure if the mushrooms were edible but I wasn't going to risk it. Between bushfires, drought and covid 19 I think we have had enough to contend with this year and I didn't want to add food poisoning to the list.

@casablanca Ha ha love your story.

Nah, wouldn't be eating those ones Babs.
