Don't mess with me!

Today's animal photo was taken at the rodeo we went to recently. This is one of the bulls just after he had managed to throw off his rider. The look of satisfaction on his face is priceless.

Now it is the job of the rodeo clowns to try and get the bull out of the ring.

Today's main album photo

Great action shot, with his front legs crossed, he looks like he is going to break into a dance of joy.

@annied @hermann @karlow75 Thanks. There three rodeo clowns trying to get him out of the arena and he was really teasing them. I think the clowns do a fantastic job, wouldn't fancy that job at all. Some of these bulls really get quite vicious and one of the clowns got a bit of a thump from one of the bulls on this day. Didn't get that shot though, all happened so quick.

There really is an overwhelming sense of power. Come back when you're hard enough! Good shot.

Waaw !! what a magnificent beast !

....1 down...bring on the others if you dare. Many years ago we went to a bullfight in Portugal - they don't kill the bulls. Those bulls looked angry. Guess I would too if someone stuck me with a sharp pointy object. On second thought that's what the Dentist does. Grrrr

Great shot! Love all that dust blowing around.

I'm on the bull's side. I'd be really cranky too if someone cinched a girth around me as tight as that poor animal has had inflicted on him. Great photo though, shows all the detail.

@happypat He definitely did. He gave the rodeo clowns a run for their money too.

@elaine55 Thanks Elaine. We were caked in dust when we got home. Can't think why!

@kathiecb Perhaps dentists were bulls in a previous life ha ha.

@april16 I wouldn't mess with him either. The riders must have been mad to get on his back. They didn't last long though.

@yaorenliu He really did kick up a lot of dust and they had quite a job getting him out of the arena.

@iwatts @lafish Thanks so much.

@888rachel Thanks Rachel. You wouldn't have liked all that dust if you had been there. We had to be so careful with our cameras and we swallowed so much dust during the afternoon. We were also covered it it when we got home.

@golftragic I'm with you Marnie. I had never been to a rodeo until last year and we have had two rodeo outings now with the photo club. I think I am over that one now though.

Great shot, love the stance, and the dust!

@dgrynn I wouldn't be game to mess with him either. He was stamping the ground to tell people to stay away.

@ourrube Thanks Ruby. The dust was incredible. We came home covered it it.
