Recycled

What to do with your old bath! This recycled seat is outside one of the shops on what is known as Ingall’s Terrace, on Swan Street in Morpeth, named after Richard Ingall who was a successful businessman in Morpeth’s heyday.
The many specialty shops have traded here since opening in 1862.

Good for them for thinking outside the box. I've seen old toilets used as outdoor planters, but they really don't look very good. I think the fact that this is painted brown really helps.

Wouldn't the water all drain out when you needed a bath. LOL Very unique

@kathiecb You are right there Kathie. Maybe be best to have a dust bath instead.

some people are so imaginative! Good find!

Imagine what they could do with old toilet pedestals
July 14th, 2014
We could have given them 2 of these once but Ed chopped them up. It took him days !

@888rachel @elaine55 @ethelperry @karlow75 @annied @onlyme111 @quietpurplehaze @gigiflower @wordpixman @darthkitty @tomtom @lpot1985 @almondjoy1 @tabarlett @annepann @eyesmile @pcoulson @happypat @hermann @leestevo @lafish @debilz @terryliv @chimfa Thanks everyone. We have had a hard rubbish collection in our area this week, but I haven't found an old bath outside anyone's house that I could recycle into a seat. I quite like the idea of one of these in our garden. Terry's idea of a row of old toilet pedestals would be creative too. How about that in your garden. ha ha.
If Ed had been a bit more creative Jane you could be the talk of Spain with one of these in the garden instead of chopping them up.
