Here is one person who will agree with you on the beauty of industry. I am laughed at by my family because on a world cruise in 2010 I took so many shots of machinery and other industrial things that lined the ports where we stopped but I found the variety of colours , shapes, storage patterns and the machines themselves amazing.
That looks quite an impressive piece of machinery, I will show it to my engineer hubby this evening - he'll love it! The yellow looks great against that lovely blue sky.
@peadar thanks for letting me know about this Peter, it's right up my street.
I really like this Babs, I love industrial shots too. My project is a bit thin nowadays since I completed last year but you may like the look of this
@bluefirebucket Thanks for the link Mick, I have had a look through your album and very impressed. Some wonderful shots there. I even know some of the places in your photos. I lived near Manchester for a while as a teenager. I did a month of rust and industrial shots in June and you may be interested. http://365project.org/onewing/topics/2014-06
@annied Thanks Annie. We had a brilliant day at Port Waratah Coal Services. They have free trips there. Well worth the outing. Will email you the link if you are interested.
