I often walk past this fish and chips shop and noticed the dog tablet and the chain where you can tie the lead on. You don't see these often anymore. There was a lot of wind today, you can see the notice board swinging. By the way, Wales is bilingual, so you often see signs in Welsh and English.
This shot has so much to offer, the shop, the antique dog hitch the small sampling of the welsh language, and the wonderful reflection of the buildings across the street with their T.V. antennas in the shop window...Been wanting some good fish and chips these past several weeks, this shot gives me the inspiration to pursue this come the friday, when most restaurants here offer their specials
Ah, that makes me want to go over there!! We have a bit of the bilingual issue being so close to Canada - as soon as you cross the border everything is in French and English. And on a different note, in some of the old New England towns you'll still find iron rings where you could tie up your horse in the olden days.
Can you speak/read Welsh ?
