Idea, photo and title: Lev
Processing: Saxa (a crop and a bit of tweaking)
After school, Lev, is usually a bit grumpy and needs one-to-one attention, which can be difficult at times with the other two also demanding attention. We often chat a bit, eat a bit, cuddle a bit and then he's alright again. I asked if he would like to take a picture with my camera.
'Yes!'
'Of what would you take a picture?'. He thought for a while.
'The flowers outside', he said. Mark had bought some pansies in the supermarket yesterday. It was pouring down with rain, so I asked him if he had any other ideas. 'Of you', he said. He looked around for more ideas and suggested the door and handle, the bucket where we keep the building bricks in. He had set his mind on the flowers outside though, so in the pouring rain, he took some pictures. Of the blue ones, because that's his favourite colour (Mark had also bought some white and orange pansies). Inside he took a couple of me, of the door and handle and the bucket. I told him to press the shutter gently, until he would hear a bliep and then press further. And he understood and he would tell me if he hadn't heard it. We looked back at the pictues he had taken on the camera and he liked this one the best. It was a special moment together!
For the get pushed challenge, set by Vera: I want you to outsource some of the decision making this week: ask your children what they think would be a good photographic subject and create an image (or images) around that.
