Wonderful portrait of this georgous butterfly. Here in Northern Germany the number of butterflies is still extremely low. No idea what happens to them.
@catwoman2 Thank you so much! :) I have not really had very many butterflies in my garden either and I have planted lots of flowers to attract them. I was happy to get this shot! I thought it might be because of the heat. I was out watering just at dark and saw the first humming moths in the garden. I was surprised to see them out so late, guess they are escaping the heat too.
