A shot from a couple of days ago when it was very frosty first thing in the morning. This is HDR as I am sure you can tell.
Looks better large of course!!
I have been really busy today trying to sort some of the rooms in my house. My sister Barbara and I have decided to live together in my house which means combining two houses of furniture and belongings!! We have only just decided and it will not happen that quickly as she will be selling her house. It is all a bit daunting at the moment but I think it's the right decision. I know I am going to be very busy in the next few months so may not be able to post new shots every day and also I may once again fall behind in my comments on your wonderful work. I hope you can understand and be patient with me. I will try to post as often as I can - I really do not want to stop 365 as I get so much from it.
I am away next week on holiday - just 4 days in Yorkshire - I am taking Barbara for her birthday. I don't think there is WiFi so will probably be out of touch Monday - Friday. Fingers crossed the weather is kind as I am hoping to get to Bempton Cliffs to see if there are any Gannets. Also the Yorkshire coast is fabulous so I hope I can get a few shots to share.
Very good shot Pam. What an exciting time you have ahead. I hoep you enjoy Bempton. I have got some great shots from there of Gannets, I hope that you are lucky. Here is one of mine. http://365project.org/seanoneill/the-difficult-2/2013-10-04
@seanoneill Thanks for that Sean. I do love Gannets - great shot by the way!! I went to Bass Rock a few years ago and that was magic. Here is one of my shots from there
Wow -- some big changes ahead! Good luck with all the work ahead and no worries re commenting. Have a fun trip and relax given what is ahead for you! This photo is wonderful -- it's what I imagine a village in England would look like on a cold winter morning. I love the color and detail the HDR brings out.
I think its great that you get on with your sister so well! It can be a rewarding relationship living together as long as you are both not too independent! I just love your take on this scene! Fav
This is gorgeous, and a fav for me. Sounds as if you have a busy time coming up! I for one will be very patient, as people have been very patient with me lately. Exciting that you are going to Yorkshire--my native county, although we emigrated to Canada when I was four, in the early 1950s. Might your coastal shots include any seaside places? I know we went to Bridlington and Scarborough for short holidays when we lived there. Looking forward to seeing some Yorkshire shots after you get back!
@maggiemae@beryl@tristansmum many thanks for your lovely comments and especially the Favs!! Very much apreciated!!
Stephanie we will be staying in a house about 8 miles inland from Bridlington and I am sure we will be driving right up the coast. Fingers crossed the weather is kind and allows me to get some good shots!! I love Yorkshire!!
Saw your photo for the CSC challenge and came over to have a look at your album. This is a lovely shot! Very interested to hear you are coming to Yorkshire, I live 12 miles from there!! If you are planning to goto flamborough, just a word of warning. You can't get down to the bay at the lighthouse due to storm damage of the steps and also Runswick bay for same reason is difficult to access. I was out there last weekend. Have a lovely few days over here ☺
I am a big fan of HDR and I like how you have processed this Pam. Wow you have some big changes coming up and I hope all goes well with the transition.
@andrina many thanks for the information Andrina! Not sure how much walking I will be able to do ad I am having problems with my heels. I am hoping to find some good beaches to walk my dog but climbing down the steep cliffs is no longer anything I can try! Very frustrating!
Stephanie we will be staying in a house about 8 miles inland from Bridlington and I am sure we will be driving right up the coast. Fingers crossed the weather is kind and allows me to get some good shots!! I love Yorkshire!!
I hope the move is a good one for both of you.
This is a neat capture - it looks like a painting.
