2017 02 19 - The face

This is a detail from the handle of a huge pottery urn in the formal gardens of Castle Ashby. I loved that his face is covered in pale green lichen which looks like a beard. I had a little play in Topaz Textures Effects.

I love this -- the way you've positioned her face the mood you created. Also, nice to see color!

I'm amazed that this and the last I just commented on weren't on "Fav Overload"! This is gorgeous! Perhaps I'm coming to like "Photo Art" a notch above "a photo" when it's done well! To me, this might (possibly) be less exciting as "just a photo". You made it into art (again!)

@Weezilou thanks so much Louise! From you that means a lot! Favs? Who can understand why some shots you love get few Favs and others which are just ok in your mind get lots? All very subjective and not worth worrying about.

@pamknowler Of course I agree that it's all subjective. We do what we do because we enjoy it! Not working for a salary here!

@Weezilou oh wouldn't it have been wonderful to be able to do this for a living? Banking didn't give me much of a thrill! Lol!

Nice processing!
