When Japan's Tsunami devastated them, it hit our harbor and spent the whole day, flushing out all the water and refilling it every 10 minutes from 7 in the morning until 7 in the evening. We lost the docks and nearly 20 crab vessels that hadn't made it out of the harbor. One young man lost his life
That is very sad. It's hard to believe it was a year ago. With all the disasters happening now and the coverage of them it seems they happen closer and closer together. It's hard for me to envision a harbor emptying and filling up with water in a matter of minutes let alone over a 12 hour span.
