Yet it is in this loneliness that the deepest activities begin. It is here that you discover act without motion, labor that is profound repose, vision in obscurity, and, beyond all desire, a fulfillment whose limits extend to infinity.
Thomas Merton
The same-september Thursday column is the same symbol. I chose the infinity symbol. I remembered times when I had found driftwood carved away from nots or roots that came close to the infinity symbol, so I've been looking this week but didn't find any, then I reached behind my bedroom door for a necklace and remembered that I had used one, and some cup holders to make a necklace holder about 20 year ago. I use it routinely but rarely think about it anymore.
In many ways you have bamboozled me but I do quite like it! Perhaps next time turn off that darn light at the back - it's distracting me! OMG, headache time again!!
brilliant! as i read your caption, i was telling myself "god, she's very good. i should just stop wanting to be a writer!" needless to say when i realized it wasn't your own writing, i was so disappointed. lovely shot of infinity.
