My same-september sensation is the sense of growing older. This is the main street in Smith River, where the Bank kept its name but turned into a tavern many years ago. Dairy land and Easter Lily fields surround this town and the Smith River which is famous for Salmon fishing meets the pacific not far from here. I love when I sub as a teacher at their school, there the newness is more evident, a new playground was built a new gym is going to come and the ground has been broken for the plumbing and the construction noise rings through the classroom doors.
