The Bitter Trail

the trails and forest floor in the redwoods are lined with the shamrock looking bitter sorrel. It is edible but bitter. There are also fern and a lot of banana slugs. Check out mu calendar view for this column.

Bitter Sorrel, is that what that is? We thought that the clover-looking stuff we saw in the woods there was soooo neat! It covered everything and looked so magical.
