One Family tradition that I am grateful for is the Growth chart that I made with the boys with their footprint and photographs at each birthday.

I wish there was a way to chart the growth in maturity of the inner spirit for children and grandchildren- alas, we witness it but we can't quantify or measure it as we can the size of their feet or the distance from the floor to the top of their head. We always marked growth directly on a convenient door jamb or wall! This is so much better and the kids can roll it up and take it with them one day.
