In December we get to continue integrating old memories and new ones. This is the year we started driving back to Wyoming for Christmas but woke to find the Columbia Gorge and the Pacific Northwest locked in ice and no way to get home so we were lucky we had stopped to spend the night with a brother-in-law because he ended up stuck with the Goode Clan.

i wish i could get a shot like this, but at the same time i don't want it to snow then turn to ice. we're in niagara falls right now with partners son and family. so my december challenge would have to wait until we get back home. this is such a beautiful shot, dixie.
