With text and facebook and picture messages, I don't have to miss my son too much even though they haven't invented a textable hug that feels right. He says, "Mom, I got a New Haircut." I say, "Picture Please," and the distance remote control sends my picture of my son in no time at all. I even get a glimpse of the dorm room.
Handsome fellow- consider yourself lucky! My sons went to college and forgot about haircuts for awhile! I would jokingly tell people that I had Shaggy from Scooby-doo and Mountain Man living in my home during breaks.
Oh my gosh, this is so funny because my college son texted me yesterday saying he was getting his haircut and asking me if he should go with a 1 or a 2 (clippers are designated as numbers - millimeters, maybe?). I didn't ask for a photo, tho, because either way, his hair is really, really short!
