When I went to college at Beijing Teacher's college, i spent a lot of my money on silk robes and shawls and still have all the ones I didn't bring back as Christmas gifts. I love to wear it, but when i'm snuggling the dog or carrying a parrot on my shoulder, or bouncing a baby, I have to choose more practical wear, so the silks are reserved for the special times and I usually live in Denim and sweaters and t-shirts.
"I remember a hundred lovely lakes, and recall the fragrant breath of pine and fir and cedar and poplar trees. The trail has strung upon it, as upon a thread of silk, opalescent dawns and saffron sunsets."

@sarasdadandmom Honestly, in 1987 they were about $7 each robe like the green one and we brought one for my parents and in laws and both of our siblings and their spouses - 16 robes for Christmas gifts
i love silk robes. i have an aqua one with a dragon similar to yours, but i don't use it anymore as the dragon trim has frayed and still i want to keep it. i have another one that i bring with me when i travel, lighter to carry than the cotton ones. these prints are beautiful. lovely collage yet again.
