This is where I have lived since 1996 and the pink is why we bought this place of all the ones in our price range that we looked at. There were Cherries and Rhododendrons in bloom and neighbors popping in to ask if there was any way they could help us. It was a great choice and a wonderful place for two sons to grow up running a bit wild and free instead of hiding behinds a video game.

It sounds like your boys grew up in a similar way to mine (although we didn't have those beautiful redwoods!). What a great place for them and I think that you took this home beyond the pretty pink and made it a world for dreaming, exploring and joy.
@summerfield Thank you, it is a cherry tree but the first ten years I lived here I thought it was ornamental only, then we started getting a few cherries if the birds are not faster.
