Get me Grandma

Miss Daisy still only has to reach for me for my heart to melt.
my lord! how she's grown! i've been so amiss with my commenting, i couldn't keep up and you're one of those whom i've so neglected (but that's because i know you understand). so now, i am surprised to see that miss daisy is actually growing to be a really pretty miss! love that red hair! she's really your granddaughter!

@summerfield Yes, I understand, and don't comment nearly enough. I followed too many people to comment on every day and even though that overwhelms me, I don't want to unfollow because I love them all, and love being surprised by who pops up each time I log in. Yes she is not a baby, but now my other son is expecting a baby in May!

@summerfield my kids only count two, but my heart counts Angel too. After all she was mine for a year. She has a baby brother now and a step older brother and they live in Arizona but she still is my girl.

@pandorasecho - angel! that's her name. i was thinking of her that's why i said third time.

my two grandsons are children of the boy i raised. their stepsister now calls me grandma, too, since their mother's mother passed away in april. growing up without my own grandmothers, i want to be grandma to those kids who don't have one. every kid should have a grandmother. pity the two of ex-partner's son (ivy and jack). they're inquiring about me, but how do you tell small kids that their grandma isn't their grandma anymore? how would anyone have a heart to tell them that? even if they protest, i will keep sending the kids their Christmas and birthday presents, just so they would grow up to know that in my heart, they're still my own grandchildren.
