This bridge used to go somewhere, but it doesn't anymore. There is a neighborhood at the far end, and this bridge gave the residents easy access to the main road and stores, but now it's a dead end on their side. I don't know when or why it was blocked off from traffic. Maybe too much unwanted traffic was driving through their lovely quiet neighborhood?
Every time I drive by, it draws my eye and my imagination. Can't help but wonder what it was like back in the day.
And I can't believe I didn't look for a construction date. Doh! Next time I'm near, I'll stop and look for a marker.
