Soaked by pcoulson

Soaked

Heavy rain all day so went off to get some shots inside Bradford Cathedral only to find four Primary schools children rehearsing for a carol service to be held in the afternoon photography not a good idea walked out into the rain and noticed this chap sitting in the rain getting soaked just 3 metres of the main entrance why he didn't go inside is beyond me.
An antidote to jolly Christmas shots. Perhaps, like Ray, he doesn't like Christmas carols.

Oh dear, he doesn't look happy. Like Ray @quietpurplehaze I am not a fan of Christmas carols either but I think I could suffer them rather than sit out in the rain.

He may have realised that you were looking for a model Peter and sat out there waiting for you to photograph him !!! Hope you rewarded him !! lol

This is a fav for me. He has a story to tell, though we don't know what it is. The composition is great, colors are lovely, the image is well focused, and I absolutely love the little reflection of his sneakers on the wet sidewalk.

@onewing Thank you for your comments, not only was he wet but also his shopping, would have to really dislike carols or possibly children aged 5 to 8 years, lol:)

@peterlgrave Thank you Peter, I'm always weary taking candid shots of people never know their reaction if discovered, although this unfortunate wet chap had no idea I had taken this shot:)

@pcoulson While reading the comments on this sad picture I saw your reply in 'Russian'? Is there an automatic translate to do this or are you proficient in the language?
December 15th, 2016
@sweetsue53 Thank you Sue for your lovely comment:)
December 15th, 2016
@Cherrill Yes but you do have to check the translation back again into English as some words and grammar do not translate may have to substitute some words, I use google translate but there are a few out there I've attached a link below, just type your message in the left hand box with English highlighted click the menu on the right hand to Russian or any other language required when happy copy and paste into the comments box on the members image, any problem just let me know Cherrill I will try to help this link should go straight to an example reply to Tatiana to give you an idea https://translate.google.com/#en/ru/Wonderful%20shot%20lovely%20focus%20and%20excellent%20lighting%2C%20Tatiana%20%3A)

@Cherrill Sorry Cherrill forgot to say I'm no linguist I've been known to struggle with English sometimes and get my mords wixed up, lol:)

That is so helpful Peter. Not necessarily here but we have friends in Turkey who would be so impressed if we could send something in their own language! I tell you, 365 is not just about photographs is it? :-)
