@stray_shooter Thank you Ron this was about as close in as I could get and still get some clarity, used f18 at 6 seconds with my daylight desk lamp to illuminated the dark shadows:)
@onewing Thank you Babs its been a awful day weather and news wise today, realised I had not taken a single shot so had to improvised using the seed pod, utility worktop and my daylight adjustable desk lamp:)
Absolutely brilliant Peter, just blooming fantastic.. absolutely love the textures, PoV and Dof.. there's so much colour in this decaying pod and you appear to have found it all.. can fav it only once :-(
desk lamps are so useful..i'd be stuck for photography without mine with it's daylight bulb..
@jorlam Thank you so much for your wonderful comments and fav Jorlam as always they are appreciated, this was as detailed and close as I could achieve, BTW was out this afternoon in the sun taking Infrared will process the images later to night:)
@pcoulson i look forward to viewing at least one, tomorrow??
Btw.. if you are taking IR for just B&W set the camera for Mono. on the D90 it stays there, does not come up as a colour file.. big apologies - i forgot to mention it.. i thought of it today whilst out with Kaz's dog, Spencer.. if not too windy tomorrow i might try some mono IR, i have the Hoya filter but, unlike the D90, it is a long exposure job on a tripod. may even try a landscape..
Also, if only wanting B&W images don't even bother channel swapping just set as B&W in PS..
How's the hunt for an IR camera going??
@jorlam Thanks for the information Jorlam will have another go over the weekend with the new settings, I'm struggling to get the right amount of contrast using Photoshop at the moment, I have two options available re the Infrared camera, will talk about them when we meet up on Tuesday:)
