S/C Crocus

Little bit of selective colouring today by way of a change.
I'm trying to remember how to do this but I think I shall have to watch the You Tube video again! Nice processing Fav

Nicely done Peter! The colours lend themselves to the black and white contrast so nicely. Looks like spring is showing signs of coming!

Flowers never look quite right in b&w for me, but this is the best of both worlds. Excellent choice for selective colouring.

@rosiekind Thank you for your comment and Fav Rosie they are appreciated, its quite a simply process, load your image, make copy convert the new layer to b&w, then add a new layer (reveal all mask) to this copy, using a paint brush with the foreground icon colour set to black paint over the item you want to show in colour, just remember that using the foreground set ( the two squares icon) paint with black reveals and paint with white conceals its as simply as that:)

@stray_shooter Thanks Ron I had a busy day ahead so had to come up with something post, took some shot in the garden to work on later was not happy with them so turned to selective colouring to save the day:)

Good use of selective colour, which I like to use on occasions. I think it works very well here as the crocuses (why are they not croci?) are such vibrant colours. I like the way you have also included the broken tulip in your image

@suesouthwood Thank you for your lovely comments Sue, it would have been rude not to have included it, lol:)
