Apologies for the caption. This is a bee on a Hebe plant. I couldn't resist the pun.
This is not up to the mark of some other similar shots I've seen on here, but, as I've never actually managed to catch one at all in the past, this is going to have to do. I am certainly not spending hours on a sunny day chasing a bee around a Hebe in the hope of a "perfect" shot (even for the sake of 365)!
I do love the bumble bee. Have you tried to crop the image to almost square? I think this would show the bee more. I have to say this is a great capture of a bee at work and I like it.
