This is for my daughter, Maddie. She also came over at the weekend and it was so lovely to see her as she arrived back Sunday morning from a trip to Tanzania during which she reached the top of Mt Kilimanjaro.
This was not only a great personal achievement for her (physically and mentally), but she raised over £2,200 for a children's educational charity in Tanzania in the process.
Congratulations to Maddie on a tremendous achievement! Does she have any pictures you can share with us from Mt. Kilimanjaro? Nice capture of the boots and socks!
Love the composition and light Peter. I can just feel that leather! She did well didn't she? Not easy climbing that height when you are not used to living at altitude. I will try to dig out one of my old Kilimanjaro shots and re-photograph it sometime
