So, gold medals today for Team GB (yay!). There has been a lot of talk about explosive sports in the media - a term I was unfamiliar with. So, a little stuck for a shot, I enrolled my trusty pencils on a vague theme of explosions and gold and... er, this is what I got.
Thank you all for your comments recently, it is really appreciated. I have just realised this is about the half-way mark - 6 months - never expected to get this far!
Wouldn't like those exploding in my direction, pointy end first! Mind you, he whole bloody Olympics puts my blood vessels at risk of exploding! Still, they have inspired a good photograph so that was well worth £9 billion!
You are too much, Peter. . .although I would know this was yours from miles away - the king of flack shooting! Congrats on the golds! It's such fun watching and thinking of all of our UK friends. . .

... and the mass hysteria ...and the dominance of the giant corporations ... and the huge security which has come to rule our lives because 'they' want us all to be afraid yet feel that 'they' are looking after us ... and, yes,the £9 billion when the kids the disabled and the poor are paying for the state we are led to believe we are in ...........!!
