Yum, nuts. :) Seeing so many of my fellow 365'ers putting up their trees this weekend is a wonderful peek into different kinds of customs for me. In my family the traditional date to bring the tree in would be the 23rd. The past few years I've brought my own tree in around the 21st. So to think you guys already have your decorations done, it's really quite strangely wonderful. :) This is a lovely, warm shot.
@joa Johanna, well it shouldn't be too early. All the supermarkets start selling Christmas at the beginning of September, so everything has started to move earlier. But I remember from my childhood that we put up the Christmas stuff around 2 weeks before the day, and that's stuck with me. A colleague said recently that you shouldn't put up anything until the 12th December, I'd never heard that before but it sounds like a good rule!
@fintan Fintan, Raw is fantastic if you want to do lots of processing. I often think I would have got just as nice an image if I'd shot in jpeg with camera settings set well.
