Fantastically captured!

Bet that was fun to do! Good use of slow shutter speed, and you get to play your piano at the same time!
January 23rd, 2013
And the composition is ace too :)

Oh wow that is cool! I might have to try this sometime :) What an awesome capture Peter! :)

I love the way you depicted motion -- and a piano piece that demanded it shown as a still piece to accompany why that motion makes sense!
January 23rd, 2013
Cool! I also tried a slow shutter speed shot today. It looks like you also had fun shooting this. Great capture!

Ah, you stinker. . .now WHERE'S the sound?!? Great job. . .I need to say so many thank yous for your kind comments throughout my year and especially on my end of project slideshow, Peter. . .I've always felt that special connection to a fellow-musician, and (double whammy!) double reed player! Getting to know you and watching your skills grow has been a great gift! Let's go on with many more, my friend!
January 24th, 2013
That's fab! I've tried similar with my guitar but never quite achieved it!
January 24th, 2013
Wow playing so fast your fingers are a blur!!
January 24th, 2013
@lyno Lyn, yes, double reed players need to stick together, nobody else understands! Thank you so much, again, for all your support. I think I need get back to playing music, so, as much as I regret it, I will need to leave 365 at the end of my year to photographers who are more talented than I. Thank you so much, Lyn!

wonderful idea! Great capture :)
January 26th, 2013
Awesome capture! I wish there was a sound clip to go with it so we could hear the beautiful music.
January 26th, 2013
@positivemoments Tracy - I wish! It's a 5 sec exposure so actually the fingers didn't have to work that hard :-)
January 26th, 2013
@jenniferruge Jennifer - I am not that brave, unlike our friend Lyn @lyno
January 26th, 2013
very nice exposure and composition
January 28th, 2013
Beautiful exposure. Looks like a complicated piece of music.
January 30th, 2013
@belucha Thank you, Isabel.
@bardejov Well, it's not easy, but the tempo is fairly sedate so you have plenty of time to plan the next move!

Very good Peter

I'm very sorry to read that you'll be leaving here Peter. But what a thrill to see this shot. How creative! Right now my sight-singing abilities aren't helping me and I'm tossing up whether to lug my laptop to the piano to play this music and see what it exactly is. By the look of it I'm thinking a Beethoven sonata, but then again... This is a definite fav my friend.
