spring blossom

What a beautiful few days we have had in the south-east of England. It could almost be Spring. It didn't last long, so here's a Spring blossom to remind us!

This is lovely - and an unusually deep pink. Do you know what plant this comes from?

@peadar Probably. I haven't heard of a Russian almond but it sounds very likely.
