It's that time of year when the rapeseed is starting to flower, bathing the UK countryside in swathes of yellow. Although it's a very attractive and photogenic sight, actually the crop itself is pretty boring. It has an acrid perfume, and the honey from bees feeding on it is pretty bland. Apparently it is one of the oldest known sources of vegetable oil.
Nice leading line and colors. Here there are entire carpets of yellow in the fields. I haven’t dared to take a picture yet, because it isn’t easy to find the right composition
