Arrival

Today we travelled 9 miles, but through 27 locks, so 36 lock-miles. We set off at 08.00 this morning and arrived in Birmingham city-centre at 16.00. Phew!

This photo was a quick snap. I am actually at the next lock (centre right) preparing that, whilst Miriam is in the boat, waiting for the gate to be opened.
