We spent the morning wandering around the middle of Warwick, a significant settlement in the history of England dating back to at least AD900. This is the Eastgate, one of three medieval period gates to the City. Above it, the Chapel of St Peter was built around 1427. Bottom left you can see a red postbox, which dates from the 19th century; all Royal Mail post boxes are marked with the crest of the monarch on the throne at the time they were installed. This one is marked "VR" - "Victoria Regina" - dating it to the 19th century and quite rare, I would imagine.
Many thanks for following, and all of your comments, favs and support - much appreciated.
