The only photos I took today were at my son's 14th birthday party - all family moments, none postable here. I didn't have an obvious choice for a filler, but decided to go with this one of a little fruit and veggie stand where I stopped because of the pretty poppies growing wild nearby. My focus was the flowers but took a few of the stand and signage, and liked how this one turned out. It's a little different for me and sometimes you just have to mix it up a bit!
I was floored to see my "Side by Side" photo on the TT list for this week. It was the icing on the cake of an already wonderful day, celebrating my newly minted and very sweet 14 year old. Thanks for all your comments and favs. You are the best!

This is a little different for you but I like it - the processing is fitting and I love the poppies framing the signs at the stand. It looks so lovely and warm, too!
Congratulations on another TT and happy birthday to your son - my younger one was 14 last month - such a nice age! Really like this shot with the blocks of colour in the background and the brightness of the poppies. Looks a vey tempting stall!
Congratulations on the TT, Happy Birthday to your son (btw family shots are fine on here- they come in the same range of expression as our more "artsy" shots- some real "mom and pop" and some photo studio- it just depends on if you want to post them or not) and pretty colors!
