These light towers are located at our airport and provide guidance for incoming planes. I was driving by them during a brewing thunderstorm and was struck by the color contrast of red against the stormy skies. I was shooting across a highway and trying to avoid the foreground fence and other airport messiness so opted for a high perspective.
This is a real eye-grabber. The red against that ominous sky is just wonderful. It doesn't bother me in the least that we see just the tops of the towers.
