Today was my first ever attempt at street photography and I headed out for a shot with a fair amount of trepidation. I was mentally preparing myself to fail on today's ONS5 challenge, when look what I see! It was as though the photography Gods were sending me a sign that this was doable after all. Of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take this trio's photo as they walked toward me. Heck, if you are dressed like the blue/red men group, you probably want your photo taken anyway.
My settings and focus could have been better. I have a new found respect for those of you who take amazing street candids. There is so little time to see the shot, compose, and shoot it well. It was fun to take this baby step into a new type of photography. Thanks One Night Stand Challenge!
Fantastic!Crazy find and you dealt very well with the surprising situation.I think only the blue guy noticed you,but we don't see his eye contact with the camera,which is great.
LOVE IT! The Gods were quite good to you today--I love how that happens! How fantastic--odd, and colorful. Puts a huge smile on my face. Street photography is not something I seek out (I like to tell the tale more in the narrative than the lens in these cases), but I'm glad we were challenged to do it. There's always something going on--and in your case, there's some really cool odd things to brighten a day!! Fav.
