Floating the river that runs through town is a popular summer past time. I was walking along the banks of the river at sunset and liked the light reflecting on the water and the raft going by.

Perfect timing on this shot! Love the sunlight streaming across the water, lighting up the tree. The people in shade...heads bent. We used to do this in Atlanta...on the Chattahoochee River. We called it "Shooting the Hootch!" fav
The rimlight on the heads catches my eye. In fact, all the light is beautiful. I think your clever placement of the tree might have reduced lens flare too. Fav.
@rvwalker Thank you, Ross! Yes, it was very bright. The tree helped me a lot. The exposure was challenging. Have you settled back in to the home routine. I am sure Linda is happy to have you home again. I love to see the photos of your trip!
@pflaume Things are approaching normal, Lisa, but I might not pick up a camera for a few days. Linda and I went to a movie together tonight, and it was wonderfully domestic.
