Made myself rise early enough for sunrise one day of our vacation. It was quite cloudy and a bit smoky from distant forest fires so perhaps not ideal conditions for sunrise photography. No matter. I thoroughly enjoyed the stillness of early morning on the lake. Not a sound to be heard except the gentle lapping of waves on the shore. It felt as if the world was holding its breath, awaiting dawn's arrival.
Absolute cracker, you must be proud of this shot. Well worth setting the alarm clock for. Really love the peace in this shot, very relaxing and warming.
