I was taking photos of sunset over the lake when this girl ran to the water's edge and right into the last rays of light. I liked the way she is silhouetted against the water and the gentle ripples at her feet.

What I like about this is the way her pose conveys her concentration on those last rays of sunlight. You can see from the ripples around her feet that she had just run up to the water's edge when you caught this image. Nicely done!
Very pretty! You can see why she'd want to be at the water's edge to see the sunset, even though you can't see it in the picture. The mood and feeling is definitely there thanks to the soft colors on the water.
