Decorations above a restaurant patio taken on my way inside the restaurant. Much too cold to sit outside!
I edited the shot using Topaz Star Effects, a Christmas gift from my son. It added the tiny light rays around the bulbs. I opted for subtle so best viewed large to see them. It's my first experiment with the software but I can see it being a fun effect in the right shots.
Very effective shot. The soft folds of fabric combined with tne lights make for a very interesting pattern.
The trend here now is to sit outside at the restaurants on sheepskins and wrapped in blankets. In some places you are even given hot water bottles to cuddle.

The title you've chosen for this image instantly brought to mind the Don McLean song - Vincent. As i played the song it seemed to fit the image well. Nice.
