This is the last of the three CosPlay (Costume Play) strangers I captured at the Nottingham Em-Con event last week.
Sue was actually the first person I photographed (apart from the Daleks) in Bolero Square outside the Nottingham Arena.
When I saw her she was being filmed by a man with a DSLR attached to some fancy rigging. He was walking around her filming her from all angles so I guess he may have been trying to create an animated or virtual reality type shot,
After he had finished I introduced myself and asked her if I could take some pictures.
Outside the arena it is all glass / apartments / modern buildings and there wasn't really a good background, plus there was quite a few people hanging around cluttering up the area.
I asked Sue to move to a couple of different places and decided the one shown was about the best.
I asked Sue what she was doing at the show. In a similar manner to Stranger 28 (Dave) she looked up and down her costume and told me she was the Wicked Queen from Snow White ! Oh yes I thought , remembering the significance of the apple .
I didn't dare ask her about the "Mirror on The Wall". I mean she had a poisonous apple in her hand !!!
With regards to the none ideal modern building background . I posted this on my Facebook page (recently joined as another place to share my photos) and Judith @judithg called it right when she said " fairy palaces have gone quite modern it seems..."
