Katie and Cesca are the second couple to appear on my strangers project.
I met Katie and Cesca at Nottingham Pride at the weekend. I'd just photographed their friend Holly for my strangers series and as they stood watching me photograph Holly, I asked them if they would pose for me.
Katie and Cesca agreed straight away and I asked if they would stand in front of the wall of Marks and Spencer as it made a nice uncluttered background.
Katie attended University in Nottingham but now lives in Derby. Katie told me that Derby don't have a Pride event. Apparently they used to have an event but this year the council have canceled it, blaming cutbacks !
I asked them if they met each other at Uni' , Katie told me that they met online, Cesca was in London and Katie Derby but as the relationship grew, Cesca moved up to Derby and now they are engaged :)
I thanked them both for letting me take the shots and I exchanged emails.
I sent two shots from the photoshoot to Katie last night (this one and a mono shot of another image) and Katie replied saying they thought the pictures were great and wished me luck in my project !

@annied thanks annie, they both liked the shots i sent them . It indeed is a lovely story . I have a few strangers from the weekend and some good stories too :)
@quietpurplehaze thanks haze . I got 3 strangers possibly 4 at Pride and another stranger on Sunday at a park brass band concerts. I am on a roll ☺ I should book on 40 by the weekend ☺
You always find the most interesting subjects for your 100 strangers project. I enjoy each story behind your shots. These two look very hapy together. Another fav for me.
That's great. I've been having a lull, getting going again now.
