Last week (Friday) I did an image entitlled THE LONELINESS OF THE BIG ISSUE SELLER, showing the BIG ISUE seller who stands in this spot every day.
Well today she lost her spot to a charity stall named 'Wild Aid'. I was a a bit rushed taking the pic as there were a lot of people passing by and wanted the stall in isolation. The ladies on the stall are looking down, but there was a resue dog with them to get the 'awwwwwwwwww' factor (or should that be 'paaaawwwwwwwwwww factor).
So my picture today is similar to last week, but shows every day is different !
Interesting documentation of what does/doesn't change in a few days - different appeal for people's charideeee, same old 2-for-£20 jeans! It's a shame you lost the pedestrians-reflected-in-the-shop-window element in this one - guess it must be from a slightly different angle? :o)
@gill Gill, thanks for visiting this picture, it is fairly similar to the one I did on Friday, what I liked was it's the same location, but someone else has 'bagged' the charity spot / street seller spot
@sarahhorsfall Yes I noticed the reflections had gone, it was a couple of hours earlier than the Big Issue Seller and the light this lunch time was pretty dire. Same camera though. Phil
I love the composition of this photo. Great URL on the window, www. peacock.com and this vendor runs the WildAid, ha. Two dogs and 2 for 20 in the window. Again, what can I say "I like it"
@seattle Constance, thanks for your comments and well spotted with the two dogs, I didn't notice the second one until you just mentioned it. Just shows what a good eye you have :). Pleased you like it though :)
Your shot is gritty and realistic. When I see a dog in such circumstances, it makes me very sad and nervous. I start to worry whether he has to live in the back seat of a car.
